The Islamic calendar contains twelve months, each of which begins with the start of the new lunar cycle. According to the Islamic calendar, 2019 in the Gregorian calendar is the year 1440. In the year 2021, the month of Muharram fell in August, with the 10th day of the Gregorian calendar month marking the first day of the Islamic holy month.
